Failures... and Successes. But Failures.
You can do anything in life if you just put your head down and work. I would even go on to say, with utmost certainty, that it’s also the only way you can do anything in life. Success, as it happens, swells your brain with pride, you’re walking on cloud nine with your head up in the tenth. Sniffing heights. Putting your head down, when success places its index finger on your chin and raises it up, is impossible if you are not a saint or extremely self-critical. The former is immensely rare, while the latter is super dangerous. That only leaves us with the other option — failure. When failure slaps you hard at the back of your head, your brain feels a sudden jerk, and you’re incredibly confused, that is your golden hour, the one moment you feel your head hang low — use it. Keep your head down. Take a breath, run a mile, come back home, and work. And work. And work. And eventually, a day will come, when you’ll realise your head isn’t hanging low because of that hit failure endowed on you. It’s because you’re dead locked on your work, your creation. That one moment, that one fleeting little seemingly inconsequential moment, will change everything. Everything.
